Dr. Asay is an internationally recognized expert in austere medicine, disaster response, and human exploitation, with frontline experience in war zones, natural disasters, and high-risk covert missions. He has worked alongside law enforcement and NGOs to combat human trafficking and contributed to major criminal investigations, earning international recognition for his humanitarian work across India, Colombia, Mexico, Guatemala, and Ukraine.

A Major in the U.S. Air Force and trauma specialist on a disaster rescue team, he is trained in austere and covert medical care, trauma, tropical and infectious disease, and chemical and biological warfare medicine. He serves as Executive Director of Jase Response, deploying globally for disaster medical missions, while also practicing emergency medicine in a rural critical access ER and teaching EMS at the university level.

Drawing on extensive experience in conflict zones and non-permissive environments, Dr. Asay equips medical professionals with practical strategies to deliver care in the world’s most extreme conditions.
